As a Catholic Christian Community we pray for each other.  Below are prayer requests that need your prayers. 

(6-7-10) Please pray for the family and friends of Lisa Marie Mahoney AM'82.  Lisa passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010.

(05-3-10) (Submitted by Nancy Coomes Bir, AM'65)  Please pray that my nephew will find his way to peace of mind and freedom from drugs.  He is really suffering and needs our prayers.

(04-20-10) (Submitted by Cynthia Thomas Kelly AM'80)  Please keep me in your prayers.  Eventhough my best friend, Linda Clayton (AM'80) passed away on November 7, 2009, it has continued to be a very difficult time for me.  It is hard to lose someone you have been best friends with for 34 years.  I ask that you also keep my son, John, in your prayers who is dealing with alcoholism.

(02-22-10) Please pray for the family and friends of Matt Bohn a 1989 Holy Cross Graduate.  Matt passed away on Saturday, February 21st.

(2-19-10) Please pray for the family and friends of Kevin Weber (HC'97). Kevin passed away on February 17, 2010.

(1-24-10) Please pray for the family of Bob Haire BD'71. Bob's son, Adam, was killed in an accident on January 22, 2010.

(08-21-09)  Please pray for Becky Bauer Haycraft (HC'92) and her family. Becky's son, Austin, passed away on August 17th.  Austin was just 13 years old.

(04-13-09)  My grandmother, Evelyn Marks, who worked in the cafeteria for many years just had a total knee replacement at 87 years old. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery!  Lisa Marks Nalley Holy Cross Class of 1990.

(4-4-09) Please keep the King family in your prayers, Herb King (BD'70) passed away on April 3, 2009.

(3-24-09) My Uncle, Herb King BD class of 70' was involved in an explosion Tuesday night in Hilton Head which left him with 3rd degree burns on 90% of his body. He was flown to Augusta Ga where he is in critical condition in the burn unit. Please pray for him to pull through!. Ashley LaRue Holy Cross Class of 98.  (Herb is the brother of Donna AM'63, Ed BD'64, Danny BD'73, John BD'74, Bernie AM'75, Dolores and Brandon) 


(3-23-09) Please pray for the family of Jeffrey Scott Kramer HC'87 who passed away on March 15.  Jeff was the brother of Julie Kramer Mashino AM'81, Gino BD'83 and Todd HC'90.  Jeff had two sons, Carter and Allex.  Allex is currently a Freshman at Holy Cross High School.

(3-23-09) Please pray for the family of Michael "Mickey" Knight BD'68 who passed away on March 19.  Mickey was the brother of Alan Deddens BD'77 and Kevin Deddens BD'80.
 
(1-10-09) Please pray for the Geraghty family as they mourn the loss of their mother, Rita, who was 85 years old. Mrs. Geraghty was the mother of 13 children, all of whom graduated from AM, BD and HC. Mary AM66, Charlie BD67, Pat AM68, Joe BD70, Billy BD71, Alice AM73, Debbie AM75, David BD77, Dennis BD78, Rita AM80, Theresa AM81, Monica AM83 and Mark HC85. She has also had numerous grandchildren who have attended or are still attendning HC. Please keep them in your prayers.

(12/08) Robert Kalkbrenner BD '74 and Tina Kalkbrenner AM '74. Please pray for our father, Robert Kalkbrenner, Sr who passed away on December 19th at the age of 81.

(7/08)  Ronald Campbell, BD '72   Please put my sister, Julie Campbell Kilkelly, AM '82, in your prayers.  She was recently diagnosed with Invaisive Ductile Cancer of the breast.  From what I have been told, this is not a good type of cancer.  She will be having an MRI this coming week (July 20 - 27) and surgery sometime after.

Denise McClellen Carnes, HC '88   Please keep Jeff Kramer HC class of 87 in your prayers. He is currently in Norton Suburban hospital.

Paula Augustine, AM '76,  Please pray for the safe return of my nephew, Jake Axman, who is serving his second term in Iraq with the Army. Jake is the son of my brother, Mike (BD '72).

Sarah Haas, HC '99,  Please pray for my family. My Grandmother passed on April 10, 2008.

Keith Schonburg, BD'82  Please keep Keith, Pam (Falone, AM '83), Cody (HC '11) and Conner (HC '13) Schonburg in your prayers.  Keith has been in a lot of pain, and is going through a lot of medical testing to rule out Lou Gehrigs Disease. 

Deborah Burnes, AM '69  Again I'm asking for prayers for my sister-in law, Lisa Burns.  A year ago she was operated on for colon cancer, then it spread to her liver and she was just told that there are spots in her lungs now.  Please pray that the good Lord will give lisa and my brother, michael, the strength to fight this battle and the courage to make the right decisions regarding her medical care.

Missy Winters Mattingly, HC '85   Please prayer for my uncle David, he just lost his leg due to complications from diabetes.  Also for my aunt Steph, we hope you both get home soon!!

Ronnie Borders, BD '76   My Prayer request is for my son Ryan who is serving in Iraq on his secound tour. He is south of Bagdad.Please pray for his safe return.

Casey Hodges, HC '04  Austin Fox, Holy Cross class of 2004 is currently serving in Afghanistan. Please keep him in your prayers.
