KPMG NAMES PAUL FULTZ TO TOP POST AT LOUISVILLE OFFICE
Global accounting and tax giant KPMG LLP has named a veteran executive to lead its local operation.
Paul Fultz is the new managing partner for KPMG's Louisville office. Fultz will be responsible for "the strategic direction and growth" here, as well as the company's "Employer of Choice" initiatives to increase the New York City-based sub-sidiary's appeal as a workplace, according to a news release.
He succeeds Franklin H. Farris, Jr. who retired last September.
Fultz has spent his entire career in KPMG's Louisville office.
He made partner in 2003, and recently he was appointed KPMG national restaurant segment leader, a role he will retain, according to the release. He also will remain as the public accountant for several private and public clients.
Fultz, who is a licensed CPA in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Massachusetts and Tennessee, received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Louisville. He is a board member of Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He and his wife, Jennifer, and their family live in Prospect, Ky.
