Holy Cross Feels the Effects of the Flash Flood of 2009

On August 4th, as 4-6 inches of rain fell over the Louisville area, much of the 23 acres of Holy Cross High School was under water!  The view out the back windows revealed only a small patch of grass in the center of the football field. The field house and concession stand appeared to be floating.  The football and field hockey practice fields were covered almost entirely with water.   However, we feel very fortunate that the damage to the property was not too extensive.  Please know that we are praying for those of you who were hit hardest by the flash flood of 2009.
